Someone just had to try and top UConn backup quarterback Johnny McEntee's trick shot video.

UNC-Ashville goalie Lassi Hurskainen made an impressive video of his own, showing off his accuracy and absurd skills with a soccer ball. He hits his targets from long range, kicks balls into trash cans and of course, pulls off some incredible tricks on the basketball court.

Are Hurskainen's skills more impressive than McEntee's? You decide!

you know.....the best dancers don't bag the best women in the club so the tricks do nothing on the field .........so stop with the nonsense and START TRAINING......half of this stuff are useless in a real game.

If Hurskainen is smart, he'll put together another video showing what he can do kicking a football -- if the accuracy holds, will be NFL scouts willing to take a look at him.

Hey dude,
he is kicking a football.
Not the oval which You are carrying with Your hands.

But in fact, very few goalies can be so accurate as he is.
Brilliant.

Very impressive... the one at around 3:05 is the best, in my opinion.

Didn't even get a quarter way through the video. These "trick" shots are as boring as the 5,000 tries it took him to make just one trick shot.

If You dont know what You are speaking, please be silent.
Go and see when is in a game, and then speak about Your 5000 tries which it will take You to hit a ball. ;-)

The goalie by far. I'd played soccer all my life until a couple years ago (29) and that stuff was unreal cool. Yeah, give me 10 tries and I should be able to put a football in a trash can 40 yards away, but with the feet... Man... That was impressive...

The quarterback video was strange - it was nearly five mintues long - shouldn't it have gone to commerical at least 5 or 6 times to be authentic football video?

both guys have skills.

Wow - even trick shots in soccer are boring.

My thoughts exactly

It's not if you have imagination.

I'm not convinced that either isn't faked. The soccer one in particular had at least one camera move that was a virtual camera (a "camera" inside software; essentially if you take a video image, enlarge it a bit, and have the software camera move around on whatever area interests you). It sound harmless, but consider that this is only a small, relatively easy step, towards tracking motion in footage and replacing it with whatever you want. They could have easily tracked the ball flying through the air and replaced it seamlessly with a bowling ball. Plus portions of it looked time remapped. Time remapping allows you to alter the speed at which a video plays. It can be subtle, like having a scene fade from slow motion to regular speed to having a scene go from slow to regular to fast to slow to fast to regular, etc.

even if these took months to get those shots I am still impressed. I love to get some background on how many tries for each.
