Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2011: Kate Upton & Irina Shayk PHOTOS Inside (PICTURES)

Now that the cover of the 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition is no longer a secret--thanks to an office worker who leaked it on Twitter Monday afternoon, followed by an anticlimactic David Letterman reveal at midnight--it's time to turn our attention to the contents of this iconic annual issue.

Let's begin with model Kate Upton, age 18. According to the Sports Illustrated website, Kate Upton "is a Midwest native who always dreamed of being a model. Fantasy became reality three years ago when she walked into an open call and booked her first job. Since then she has been the face for Guess Lingerie and appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan Bride. This is Kate's first appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue." She also has a cool Cindy Crawford-like mole.

Here she is, shot in the Philippines by Raphael Mazzucco. The issue is on newsstands now.

Now back to our cover girl, Irina Shayk. The 25-year-old burst into tears when she found out she made the cover on David Letterman Monday . When Matt Lauer asked about her relationship with soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo, Shayk, who was born Irina Shaykhlislamova, said "We Russian, we keep secrets."

I love that some are so quick to proclaim both of these women's breasts to be "fake"! If by "fake" you mean they have received implants, then you are mistaken. If by "fake", you mean digitally captured by professional photographers and then altered using software, then you are absolutely correct. Perhaps the commenters making such claims are only judging by the 3 photographs posted above (in which case, I understand your mistake), however, anyone that looks through the entire issue knows that there doesn't seem to be a single woman with "fake" breasts.

Reminds me of growing up when people would insist "real women don't look like that!". So these aren't "real women"? Now, as then, such a statement just sounds cruel and insecure. As I have aged and met more individuals throughout the world, I know that there are "real women" that do, in fact, "look like that".

Agree. For every person to look at a picture of a woman and say, "she's pretty," there will be two to say "her boobs are fake" if she's anything more than an A cup. Even if there's no evidence at all either way. And even if, like with the blonde, it's totally obvious they're real.

I still find photos of women practicing their sport far more sexy... clearly the goals of pin up models are to develop big oobs, submissive postures, and comically skinny appendages. Give me Serena or Anika or (old school) Chris Everett or Jackie Joyner any day of the week (and my guess is that most attracted to the other team feel the same way).

wellll, there are exceptions:)... my problem is that I think almost all women are beautiful (Mrs. BBT understands and I'm always a good boy)... behavior is what is "ugly." In a sense, I find these model's need to pose set shoe a Lee in order to be attractive close to ugly.
