For a cartoon, this isn't very joyous. But then, Michelle Williams is a serious actress.
The Oscar-nominated actress stars in the upcoming film "Meek's Crossing," about a set of travelers in the 1850's that hire a guide to take them west -- and then begin to suspect that, as conditions worsen and the group falls apart, he's not quite who he says he is.
And that's when Williams takes control.
The film has been making the rounds at several festivals, including Toronto and New York, and is set for release in theaters on April 8th.
