'Pursuit Of Jappiness' Video Upsets Some At University Of Michigan

Fraternity Apologizes For 'Pursuit Of Jappiness' Video

A University of Michigan fraternity has apologized for a video poking fun at Jewish stereotypes.

According to the Michigan Daily, the video, cheekily titled the "Pursuit of Jappiness," was made by two members of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and another person. Michigan sophomore and AEPi President Ben Richter formally apologized for the video last week, saying that the fraternity was not involved in the making of the video.

The video, a riff on Kid Cudi's "Pursuit of Happiness," satirizes several common Jewish stereotypes and caused a "stir" on campus (BroBible, however, called the video "hilarious.")
