The dangerous drug violence in Mexico, which has killed 28,000 people since 2006, is now threatening popular tourist destinations in the country, according to CBS News.
Back in January, Acapulco, a once-thriving tourist and cruise ship haven, saw 27 deaths in one day, a staggering figure that seems to have scared tourists away.
Two cruise lines have canceled stops in Acapulco's harbor as a result of the violence.
CBS News took a walk down the usually crowded beach to talk to locals and tourists alike about their feelings towards the drug-battered town.
