Justin Timberlake Interviews Amanda Seyfried, Talks Shaking

Justin Timberlake Talks "A**hole" Reputation, Interviews Nude Amanda Seyfried

Justin Timberlake is trying to shed an image. Amanda Seyfried has shed all her clothing.

The singer and "Social Network" star interviewed Amanda Seyfried for the conveniently titled Interview Magazine, and the pair discussed his love for acting, and her love for music. Being a popstar is all well and great, Timberlake says, but it does hurt him a bit as he tries to make the transition to acting.

"I actually find it liberating to give up control," Timberlake said. "It’s nice for me. What’s been more of a battle for me throughout the process of moving into acting is that I feel like I have to keep reassuring people that I’m not an a**hole. There is a stigma that comes from being on stage and being a musician.

He's also happy to act instead of make music, he says, because of the unfair criticism. Not that it escapes him in other art forms.

"Whatever you do as a musician, no matter how good it is, somebody somewhere is going to shit on it. You put your heart on your sleeve, and what will happen will happen. But it’s like that for any artist. You do a painting, you take a photograph, it’s the same. That’s how artistry works."

Seyfried, who says she's scratched her musical itch in films like "Mama Mia!" and working on a song with Damien Rice, revealed a bit of rebellion of her own -- red hair. Really.

I do think it was one of the best ideas to do this movie with a red wig because, I have to say, a lot of the studios, they buy a blonde," Seyfried explained about her new movie, "Red Riding Hood". They keep saying, 'We bought a blonde.' And that can be really frustrating because that’s not what I am."

Oh, and she revealed one more thing.

"I think I should mention that I’m not wearing any clothes," she said. "I’m most comfortable in my birthday suit."

Well then, that sets up the rest of the interview nicely. Click over to Interview Magazine for the rest.
