Jason Kendall Flips Out At Reporter: Royals Catcher Interrupts Interview

MLB Catcher Flips Out At Reporter

Kansas City Royals catcher Jason Kendall took exception to a reporter's question on Monday, even though he wasn't the player being interviewed.

Nick Wright of 610 AM was interviewing Kansas City prospect Mike Moustakas and asked him about possibly starting the year in the minor leagues.

That's when Kendall jumped in.

"There's a decent chance that no matter how well you do this Spring Training, you might still start the year off in the minors just because of Baseball's rules and wanting to hold on to eligibility, all that stuff. Do you think about that?" Wright asked.

"No, he wants to stay in the minor leagues all f---ing year," Kendall said, interrupting the Moustakas interview. "Are you s---ing me right now?"

After the two exchanged words, Kendall told Wright to "rewind" himself.

"Ok, if that's what I asked you, Mike, my apologies," Wright said.
