Talk about jokes! Harry Reid is embarrassing for the Democratic party! What a political hack.

Dear Senator Reid, shutting the government down isn't a joke - but we are broke. What appears as a dysfunctional disagreement between the aisles is just necessary. So play your part. Keep obstructing. Allow the federal machine to grind to a stop, especially the IRS.

While you are at it, think about introducing legislation to limit congress to one, two week session per year. With less time to make mischief maybe less of our money will be wasted on things we don't want and don't need.

Thank you for your work, but please, do much less of it.

Can't do your job? Then just throw a temper tantrum and stop working. Nice job. You should all be fired.

If we fired everyone who should be fired, for the past several years, it would never have come to this. Furthermore, we (THEY) couldn't have voted in the same ones who engineered the wreckage in the first place.

So Harry, you gonna let the GOP make you blink? I never thought of Clinton as a "tough guy", but he made a foll out of Newt. Why can't you do the same?

Well, dear Reid, how long have you worked in your position.  How long have you mismanaged this country.  How long did you pass this ridiculous paradox of corporate taxes, how long did you work to contain the middle class?  Now it is time to pay the piper.  Look in the mirror and see your accomplishments, and yes, the voters chose you again because you were the lesser evil and we have been voting for the lesser evil for some time now and were deceived nevertheless.  In private business you would have been fired a long time ago.

Shut it all down.... Is it any surprise that a significant part of economic strength is in D.C.? D.C. is also one of the few area where home values are (not only stable but) increasing.

Take everything (buildings, cars and furniture) and have a huge garage sale. Then throw all the bums in jail!

you cant make government work by shutting it down. this will backfire big time for the GOP, as the impacts to the economy are realized. The only way that the deficit can be substantially reduced is to raise corporate taxes and bring the troops home.

Most Americans are so lost in their big TVs, their other addictions, their porn, and their stupid escapist "irony," that they won't notice the government shutdown anymore than anything else, until the movers arrive to evict them from their foreclosed country.

When I filled my car with $3.20 ObamaGas, I realized our President isn't a joke. He fully intends to diminish America and put us on the same level as his homeland, Kenya.

Call the troops out of the Mid-East and bring them home. That'll balance the budget - quick fast and in a hurry. It will mess you up how fast the budget will start to balance out.

Why take grandma's groceries?

Too obvious. Besides, TRILLIONS will be lost in our "jobs program" a.k.a. The War Machine.
