'Glee' Original Songs 'Loser Like Me,' 'Get It Right' Debut

'Glee' Premieres Original Songs

"Glee" likes to celebrate individuality, and now, they've got their very own songs.

The high school singing dramedy, well known for its massive hit covers of already huge pop songs, released its first original song on Friday, premiering "Loser Like Me" on Ryan Seacrest's radio show. In addition, the slower ballad, "Get It Right," featuring Lea Michele, leaked on Friday.

The songs were written by pop superproducer Max Martin, who, having blasted to fame with late 90's boy bands and Britney Spears, has had ten number one hits in the last two years.

According to Adam Anders, the show's music supervisor, Martin was excited about writing the song.

“We’ve done like 30 of his songs on 'Glee,'” Anders told EW. “The thing about Max is that he’s a huge fan of pop culture and he just loved the idea of being part of something that’s such a cultural phenomenon. So it was actually not hard to convince him at all. He was all about it.”

The songs will make their TV debut in a March 15th episode of the show.
