Natalie Portman showed off her baby bump and her fiance Benjamin Millepied at the Oscars on Sunday night. The actress -- and new face of Dior -- side-stepped any Galliano controversy, opting for a grape-colored Rodarte dress, with some earrings we'd love to borrow. You know, if anyone gets this memo.

She truly is an idol for young girls. I wish her the best. The dress is fabulous. I feel the need to go out and buy everything in that color. It really makes her eyes just pop. Loose the tassle earrings and it's a knock out of the park.

Postman was going to wear a John Galliano dress, but that woman with the ugly eyebrows and ugly purse, Bloch, said all these horrible things about Galliano, getting him suspended from Dior. To be politically correct Portman ran to the designers of her movie costumes, Rodarte, and they found this for Portman to wear at the last minute.

Beautiful gown even if it wasn't for a pregnant lady! I still don't get five inch heels when you are that big and pregnant, though. Dangerous!

One of the most beautiful and intelligent women in the world. I'm glad she didn't listen to handlers who wanted her to dress as most Hollywood pregnant women do -- baring everything she owns and more. She didn't forget she was a woman and showed off a bit, but kept it ladylike. And purple is killer on people with brown eyes.
