Meredith Vieira Polishes Colin Firth's Oscar (VIDEO)

Meredith Vieira kept her promise to Colin Firth and polished his Oscar following his Best Actor win on Sunday night.

Vieira had caught a little flack for her less-than-subtle desire for Firth to win the Oscars. She even got called out by James Franco, who overheard her telling Firth in an interview in January that she would polish his statue when he won.

At the time, Vieira was flustered at having been caught looking so partisan. But, while talking to Firth on Monday's "Today" show, she was unabashed, asking for Firth to hand over the statue and then giving it a shine with a cloth.
