Fine wines need grapes grown in a very restrictive temperature range. Sadly, France is simply becoming warmer. By 2025 it will become too warm for many grapes,

The french will have to shift their vineyards north to the Normandy region near the English channel, and also Brittany. England in years to come will become a larger player in producing fine wines, as will Ireland and southern Scandinavia.

Science prefers the use of the term climate change as the phenomenon is about extreme weather changes - hot, cold, rain, snow all occurring with greater frequency, Articles like this leave a lot out. Where is the data to support this? Bordeaux is not considered a warm climate yet these same grape varieties have thrived in the warmer climates of California, Australia and elsewhere.

"Grape growers began to notice unusual patterns above-and-beyond the region's unpredictable weather nearly three decades ago, well before scientists began to sound the climate change alarm. "

People close to the land are noticing these changes. Hunters, fishermen, farmers, gardeners know that things are changing. People trained to observe know that the the climate is warming.

But still, we will have people with no connection to nature, no powers of observation, no experience in discerning a reliable source of information from propaganda, often no scientific training or experience, we have people like that mocking us and calling those of us who understand what is going on fools.

When a trillion dollar industry has its profit base threatened, you can expect a lot of mininformation about things like the injustice of cap and trade. That is a distraction. The real issue is that we need to kill our addiction to fossil fuels, and oil billionaires will go to great lengths to keep people from breaking that addiction..

It is time to leave the 19th century behind folks.

But ... France has nukes?

This is so unfair.

People who have a direct stake in game take global warming seriously. This includes Agribusiness, the CIA, the US Navy. Even the oil industry quietly accepts global warming (they are planning on drilling in the arctic when rising temperatures allow them to).

People who spend their time posting comments on blogs tend to be more more skeptical. If only they would realize that global warming threatens their livelihood just as much as it threats everybody else.

Teas in India are also being challenged by the warming of our climate.

We are rapidly approaching some tripping points in our climate. Once reached we will not be able to mitigate their impacts.

But as many in the US seem to believe, it is a hoax and they will leave their children and their grand children a hostile planet that is mostly favorable to bugs and bacteria.
Plants, mammals and reptiles will decline.

Oh come on...start with the adorable little Polar Bear cubs stuck on a little tiny piece of floating ice and then we can continue to invent things that we continue to learn to be threatened by AGW. Stay on message!

"start with the adorable little Polar Bear cubs stuck on a little tiny piece of floating ice...Stay on message!"

Do you have an example of that message ever being delivered? It seems to me that you're a fabricator.
