Kourtney Kardashian Talks Breast Feeding

Lunch time has never been more traumatic.

Kourtney Kardashian spoke to E! Online about raising her year old son Mason, including breast feeding. And having to give it up.

"I mean, everyone would say, it's time, it's time, come on," she says. "I started to stop a little bit, weaning and all that, and I'm like, Why am I doing this? If I'm happy and he's happy. So I said, Let me see when he asks me for it--which is like, he doesn't talk, just pulling at my shirt a little. So I said, Let me see, and he only asked once a night. So I did it and he just stopped. I'm like, I just want to do what he wants."

In fact, she even called it "traumatizing."

At least she can still help make Mason's food in other ways -- she opened up to Women's Health Magazine about making her own baby food:

My mom bought me this amazing baby-food maker, the Beaba. I steam and puree fruits and vegetables, and they last for like four days. Mason pretty much loves everything. I gave him red beets, and it got all over his face, which made the funniest picture. He also loves sweet potatoes, carrots, and yams. Sometimes I mix pureed peaches, pears, bananas, or apples with plain yogurt or an all-natural organic jelly. I have this great book called Super Baby Food that's full of ideas. I should be on this Mason diet!

I breastfed my oldest for 15 months and it is sad when they give it up. You realize they're not babies anymore. Transitions are hard.

Breakdown of the Kardashian sister dynamics:

Kim - The most beautiful and sweet sister. Made a few mistakes, but she rises to fame anyway. The other two get jealous (and were most likely jealous of her since childhood) so:
Kourtney - Has a baby to get some attention and, so, she'll be pushing baby stories in the media as long as she can get away with it, and
Khloe - Got married for attention. She used the little fame she got riding Kim's coattails to nab an NBA boyfriend, who she married only after a month of meeting, and who now completes her identity since she was so insecure as a single woman. And now she rubs it in her non-married sisters' faces since that's really the only thing she can rub in their faces considering that she is the least attractive one, has the worst personality, and has nothing else going for her.

At the end of the day, Kim will always be the more popular one and the other two will be competing with her in their mommy/wifey ventures until they figure out another way to foster their self-esteem and do something worthwhile with their lives. Kim will be able to ride out her looks for a while longer but she better have a backup plan, too.

Maybe, but I think I speak some truth. I like to psychoanalyze as a hobby and, being that they've made their life so public, they are perfect guinea pigs lol. I've seen this dynamic play out a LOT...especially in Hollywood...and especially between sisters. They fit a very common mold.

I do enjoy watching them sometimes. I like Kim the best. She is the most original and doesn't try as hard as the other two.
