Another guide for Restaurant Week: the Boulder area. Not as many restaurants from "America's Foodiest Town" are participating in as you may like (The Kitchen and Frasca are not), but that doesn't mean there won't be plenty to keep you satisfied. Menu items are subject to change at any of the restaurants, so double-check when you make your reservations.

Oddly, there is no dessert on this menu, but there is a pasta/risotto course, which sounds pretty good too. Just like the others, Arugula also has a lot of options, so everyone is bound to find something they like. 2785 Iris Ave., Boulder, 303-443-5100

Soup/Salad/Appetizer (choose one):

* Tomato & Fennel Bisque ~ Made with a hint of anise and topped with Grana Padano cheese and balsamic reduction
* White Bean & Bison Soup ~ Hearty cannellini bean soup with root vegetables, rosemary, farro, kale and ground bison meat
* Arugula & Dried Fruit Salad ~ Arugula and shaved fennel in cranberry vinaigrette with dried fruits, goat cheese and pecans
* Endive & Date Salad ~ Belgian endive tossed in sherry vinaigrette with dates, apples, gorgonzola and walnuts
* Beet Salad ~ Baby lettuces in white balsamic vinaigrette with roasted local beets, orange segments, feta cheese and almonds

* Octopus Carpaccio ~ Thinly sliced sushi grade octopus with shallot and lemon infused Tuscan olive oil and fresh oregano
* Vin Santo Pâté ~ 'Grant Farm' chicken liver pâté made with Vin Santo wine; served with mission fig mostarda and charred bread
