Luis Barragán Fountain Home Now Listed For $5.45 Million

Architectural Masterpiece In Holmby Hills For $5.45 Million

The four bedroom, six bathroom house, sometimes referred to as the Luis Barragán Fountain Home, is on the market for $5.45 million. Designed by twentieth century Mexican architect Luis Barragán, the home has since undergone a complete renovation by designer Tim Campbell, giving it a modern look. The living areas feature walls of glass that open to the Barragan-designed pool and Campbell Divertimento Fountain, which was named a Historic-Cultural Monument in 1997. Other amenities in the 5,500 square foot home include new, updated finishes and appliances and an outdoor spa directly off the master suite.

Barragán is known for his many residential designs and for the rebuilding of Convento de las Capuchinas Sacramentarias in Mexico city. This home is located in the posh LA neighborhood of Holmby Hills, which also is home to the Playboy Mansion and Spelling Manor.
