Japan Earthquake Shakes Up CNN Tokyo Bureau (VIDEO)

CNN's Tokyo bureau was shaken up by the massive earthquake that struck Japan on Friday.

CNN reporter Kyung Lah showed viewers the chaotic scene that the quake caused, even hundreds of miles from the epicenter of the situation. She said she had been in a train station and that it became instantly clear that this earthquake was like none other she had experienced.

"You knew that this was different because it went on for quite a long time and you knew it was so strong," Lah said. "Normally if there's an earthquake, you look at your watch and move on."

False alarm people. Its wasn't the earthquake that cause this mess.
Elliot Spitzer was looking for a video clip of when he was governor.

There hasn't been this much destruction at a CNN bureau since the great Larry King suspenders snap of '03.

Papers and boxes littering the floor. This is chaos. Pull your head out and stop talking just for the sake of talking. People have lost their lives, their homes, their families and you show papers on a floor. Get real.

You mean, enhanced your chaos.
It actually gave you something to focus on.
Shaky world, this news channel thing.

CNN's Anderson Cooper is leaving for Japan to report on the recent earthquake. I suppose if he reports that he and his crew felt another aftershock, his critics will once again accuse him of injecting himself into the news.

No but there are enough Japanese and ex patriots there who can cover the news to the world. What is Cooper going to bring that we don't already know? What people should be talking about is going solar and ending nuclear facilities from propping up all over the world.

GO SOLAR NOW!

I am no fan of CNN, but Anderson Cooper does a pretty good job.

You might think that cnn would have more skilled videographers than this sample.

What's with the huge number of tapes? "And over here, our Laserdiscs were scattered, and there is untold devastation to our Diet Rite machine."

Not very impressive compared to cars being swept out to sea, ships being swallowed up by waves, nuclear contamination and huge fires. But then it's their microphone and if they want to winge about a few papers being scattered on the floor, I guess they can.

Ahem... excuse me, but it doesn't take an earthquake for CNN to be in chaos.
