Sheikha Mozah & Princess Maxima Hug It Out (PHOTO)

We know some of you have been waiting with bated breath for Qatar's Sheikha Mozah to step out and we stumbled upon this picture -- the only one, apparently -- from her meeting with Dutch Princess Maxima during a state visit on Thursday.

And we'll take it! The photographers caught the two ladies mid-embrace, of course looking very stylish from what we can tell, decked out in some serious jewelry.

the sheikha is actually a higher rank than princess as she is the wife of a ruler. also, in the shiekha's country there is never too much jewellry and therefore the princess is held in high esteem for making the effort. the queen behind maxima looks like she has outdone herself also. maybe at the dinner the sheikha took off her cape and had the bling. both ladies are stunning.

Queen Beatrix frankly has a horrible fashion sense but she is her own woman and is immediately recognizable as The Queen. The royal family has a huge jewel pool and Her Majesty is incredibly generous with her daughter-in-law in terms of borrowing. This appears to be the first time Maxima has worn this tiara, which is one of HM's favorites. Maxima is slowly working her way through the pool, and she seems to be enjoying herself immensely (so would I!).

no the name denotes the size of the area they are ruling
hence queen or king rules a bigger area than a principality ie monaco or the german princes before federation of the german states
a sheik is an arab term and compare the sheiks of the arab emirates with the princes of saudi arabia

wolfie, it does look like Moza has played down the jewelry but we can't see what's on her fingers or wrists. This woman has impressive jewelery to rival any Princess's or a Queen for that matter. Wonder that occasion this was that brought out the Princess and the Queen in tiaras?

I like Maxima's gown from what I can see of it. Maxima is another one who slips under the fashion radar here.
