Aspen Fashion Week Collaborates With FEED, Co-Founded By Lauren Bush

Aspen's third annual Fashion Week is partnering with the FEED Foundation, a non-profit co-founded by former fashion model--and President George Bush's niece--Lauren Bush.

The foundation works to provide meals for children worldwide through the sale of re-useable bags with the FEED logo and by working directly with the United Nations' World Food Programm, UNICEF and others. Since 2008, Bush's organization claims to have already given over 50 million school meals to children in the developing world.

The unique perk for the buyer is that they get to know exactly how many children their purchase is feeding and for how long. For example, a donation of $100 dollars goes toward feeding two Kenyan school children for up to one year, or $350 to fund a classroom nutrition program in the United States.

Tickets for the week's events range from a $1,500-$5,000 pass and a portion of the proceeds benefit the FEED Foundation.
