Designer John Varvatos hosted the annual Stuart House Benefit on Sunday, March 13, just outside his eponymous boutique in West Hollywood. Robertson and Melrose were closed to make room for the 1,500 guests who came out to enjoy food, drinks, live music, and a silent and live auction. Food was provided by Firenze Osteria, Magnolia Bakery, Diddy Reise, Cuties and Jackie’s Bakery, In-N-Out Burger, Hot Dog On A Stick and Green Truck.

The event, now in its eighth year, never fails to attract the attention of Hollywood stars. This year, Patrick and Jillian Dempsey acted as Event Chairs, and the benefit's host committee included attendees like rapper LL Cool J, musician Perry Farrell and wife Etty, and actress Gina Gershon. Also in attendance were artist Shepard Fairey, TV personality Brooke Burke, actress Zoe Saldana, and Real Housewives co-star Taylor Armstrong, among others. The event featured a live performances by Frankie Perez and K.D. Lang and the Siss Boom Bang as well as plenty of entertainment for kids. While youngsters enjoyed playing at the crafts tables or watching a magic show in the kids' tent, adults mingled nearby and participated in the live auction with emcee Bill Bellamy. Bellamy emphasized that the event's purpose was "to raise money for an amazing cause that is making a difference for kids." All proceeds from the live and silent auctions went directly to UCLA Rape Treatment Center's Stuart House. The event raised over $500,000.
