Anderson Cooper and his crew were forced to flee the area near the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan after a series of explosions brought the radiation levels in the area to dangerous rates.
Cooper tweeted on Monday night that, due to the change of circumstance, he had to cancel part of his show:

Cooper was not the only one to escape from the area, where fears of a full-blown meltdown are raging. Reports surfaced that the BBC, ITN, Sky News and other international crews were all pulling their staffers out of harm's way. Cooper had previously expressed worry about his safety near the plant after the second explosion there.
