Saturday NIght Live has released footage of Zach Galifianakis getting his head shaved in to a Mr. T-style mohawk simply so he could say the words, "We didn't make it to the Mr. T sketch," during the show's closing.
The whole situation is played straight: Galifianakis runs off stage, is whisked into the hair and makeup room, takes a call confirming that they're doing the sketch, and then, as the hairdressers are working on shaving his head, he gazes at posters of Mr. T on the wall in the dressing room, possibly looking for inspiration.
