Video Of iPad 2 Destroyed In Slow Motion Is Oddly Zen

The folks at ZAGG Television thought it might be a good idea to see what happens when you take a shotgun to an iPad 2, video the encounter, and then slow down the video.

The results are surprisingly beautiful and oddly zen. ZAGG lined up 5 brand new iPads and systematically destroyed them in a visually tantalizing manner.

The music makes it an absolutely entrancing and strangely calm sight, even as bits and pieces of metal and glass fly across the screen.

The creators also destroyed other objects, including a basketball and a particularly plump watermelon.

Just out of curiosity, what did Apple do to garner the rabid vitriol of HP writers? I'm genuinely intrigued, as I can't seem to grasp the need for daily slams. Sure, their products are expensive and don't run Windows apps. So what? Don't buy them. And no, I'm not an Apple fanboy by any stretch. I'm just someone who doesn't get the need to display what I feel is a juvenile and intense h8tred for a product line.
