St. Patrick's Day Reception At The White House: Michelle Obama Looks Good, Jeremy Bernard's First Event (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

St. Patrick's Day has never looked so good!

Michelle Obama swung by a reception on Thursday evening in a printed Michael Kors frock and emerald earrings. And there's no doubt about it -- while some of us wouldn't ever step out wearing green, it's definitely the first lady's color.

Michelle was joined by Fionnuala Kenny, the Irish Prime Minister's wife, who sported a pretty rad tree brooch.

The event marked incoming Social Secretary Jeremy Bernard's first night on the job, the Chicago Sun-Times reports -- "He is in what the East Wing called a 'transition week' with Social Secretary Julianna Smoot, leaving to become the Obama 2012 deputy campaign manager."

Take a look at Michelle at the fete and scroll down for video -- you'll find her about 20 minutes in. And for more politicos who have gone green, click here.
