John Krasinski's West Hollywood Home For $945,000

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 03/23/11 12:46 PM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 07:40 PM ET

Via Realtor.com: Right on the heels of another mild-mannered celebrity home comes John Krasinski's West Hollywood listing. The gated property is 1,279 square feet on a 0.1 acre lot and just a few blocks downhill from The Roxy and Whisky A Go Go on Sunset Boulevard. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home has a detached guest house (which makes three bedrooms and bathrooms), high ceilings, and hardwood floors.

Krasinski is married to actress Emily Blunt and is probably best known for his role as the adorable Jim Halpert on NBC's The Office. Unfortunately, the actor is listing the house at a loss; according to Realtor.com, he bought the home in 2006 for $1.05 million and listed it unsuccessfully two years ago for $1.245 million.

I love the tree lined residential streets in WeHo. I also love the bungalows. Actually, the residential streets in WeHo are as charming and walkable as any urban enclaves that i know of.

Nice house. In my neighborhood, but not my style. How about using an anastigmatic lens to shoot wide angles? That would stop my eyes from crossing.

Cute house. Parking looks like a problem.

Parking a problem in Weho? Just scoot one of those Smart Cars over with your free ankle and voila! - instant parking space.

The problem with living so close to the clubs in west Hollywood is that people live the clubs and have sex on your lawn. In the morning, there are condoms all over your lawn. I used to live there. I know.

That is what CCTV and the internet is for. You record the activity and sell it online as "Real Sex Acts of LA"

Nice photos, taken with the fun-house camera that distorts tiny, many-angled rooms and makes them look normal.

A house for dwarfs.

Yes, if you like gays and crime and helicopters flying around your house every night. I grew up there. I did like the gays.

Is is me or does it appear that the photos are making the rooms look larger then what they really are? I didn't know Jim Halpert was making that kind of cheddah.

It's a wide angle lens, what realty photographers use so they can get everything in one photo.

First thing people do here is put a fence or hedge around their property.

What does it say about a city when everybody puts a big wall around there property......sad.

You get that he's a TV star, right? What you don't want is to have a place where people can see into your windows from the street.
