Kmart Continues Foray Into Fashion Game With Boho Cute Duds For Spring (PHOTOS, POLL)

First Posted: 03/23/11 02:15 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:40 PM ET

Kmart is continuing its foray into the fashion game with a collection of "boho cute" ensembles for spring and summer, Women's Wear Daily reports. Kathy Huynh, vice president of women's design at Kmart, told the fashion newspaper, "There's a little bit of the Seventies feeling" for the big box's key clothing labels, Route 66 and Attention.

Kmart started pushing its clothing offerings last fall, focusing on trends like military chic, rocker duds and embellishments, and running four pages of print ads in September's Vogue. Everything appears to be priced at $29.99 or lower.

Take a look at Kmart's latest wares and tell us if you'll be stocking up. And read more at WWD.

from the looks of the comments Kmart waisted their opinion poll on less daring dressers those who seem to deem themselves fashion / trend experts....( first of all rompers are a big trend) there is a lot that goes into making clothes look good at a price that a lot of people right now can afford. Fabric prices , make, and details all make a garment coslty so designers make conscious choices in order to deliver tasteful options at a very thoughtful price. If someone who had minimun means dressed like below then I say bravo ..and if you have the luxury of other choices good for you but don't knock what you don't have to choose from.....there are a lot of folks out there very grateful for the Targets and Kmarts ........!!!

You buy this stuff, wear it, wash it, throw it away. No thanks. I dont like disposing my cash around.

Rompers are for children, and even from the picture, the material of that dress looks disgusting and cheap. Don't get me wrong, I love the affordable lines at stores like Target, but if this is among the best Kmart has to offer I will have to pass.

Target contributes to the peeparty, so no more money from me.

Only the hat. Everything else looks horribly bland and cheap.

A) I won't wear snakeskin print
B) The romper looks really cheap

but --

the hat is promising. Love hats.

I really I have never understood the appeal. I am the only one who hates to practically strip naked every time I have to pee while wearing one?

The dress has potential, but a denim romper? No, no, no no, no....
02:30 PM on 03/23/2011
That romper is awful. There must be elastic under the belt, and it just looks like it would hit in the wrong place.

Duds and Boho in one sentence.

Get a rope!

I would rather go out like David Carradine than wear these duds...
