'Captain America Trailer': Extended Peek Released (VIDEO)

Chris Evans goes from CGI-skinny to super soldier in the first extended peak at "Captain America."

Evans stars as the iconic hero in the Marvel-Paramount film adaptation of the iconic comic book, a big summer blockbuster set for a July release.

To whet the public's appetite, Paramount finally released the extended teaser trailer of the film, which packs action and origin story in equally exciting punches. In a summer filled with Marvel film adaptations -- "Thor" and "X-Men: First Class" are also hitting theaters -- this is the most highly anticipated, and watching the trailer, it's easy to understand why.

Don't tell Steve Rogers he's too slight to fight -- it just takes some special new technology to make him a Nazi-killing machine. Then, he does a whole lot of fighting and killing.

Since it was just revealed that they digitalizd Natalie Portmans head on a Ballet dancers body is this what they did here also for Chris Evans? I don't know what to believe today concerning film and the actors work in it 2 tell you the truth! So I'm not even believing this article about Evans change.

Skinny Evans is a cgi construct. They had planned to put his head on another actor's body but it didn't look good so they just used cgi to slim him down.

He looked juiced up! I thought I was watching Wrestlemania the movie.

Also, when he emerged behind the door at 1:55, I laughed. That shield looked flamboyantly ridiculous in real life.
