As it should be, after all, he is the greatest short stop in the history of baseball. He's also going to bat .300 this year, watch!

Greatest shortstop in the history of baseball? Slow down. He hasn't even been the best shortstop on his own team for the last 7 years....

Give me a break, when it's all said and done A-Rod will have spent around 3 quarters of his career at 3rd. The only real short stop that a real argument can be made for him being better than Jeter is Honus Wagner and he was back in the teens/twenties.

Cheater? Really? I wouldn't spend 5 cents on a jersey with his name on it. Boo!

ok, its a sports story so i'm saying this in a light hearted way---your a bit of a hater. the guys never had a scandal or been implicated in any sort of 'cheating'. Your thinking about A-Rod. Anyway, seems he doesn't need you to buy it at this point anyway. BTW- no matter who your root for remember MLB merchandise is pure socialism & every team gets 1/30th of the price of every jesrsey. He may have put more $ into yor team in that way then your own season ticket holders (in Boston?)

It's nice knowing the one jersey I bought last year in April was the most popular.

aaahhhh agreed, nice to get it in before the Yankee haters come...this isn't surprising but how many near 37 year old baseball players, going into their 16th year in the big leagues maintain this kind of popularity...only the classiest player to wear the pinstripes in the modern era...my captain my captain...a privilege indeed, and years to come (when he retires it'll be a sad day and I will then admit...I'm old)...
Gonna be a great season!!
