After they were allegedly robbed of four pounds of marijuana, Glenda Mendez and his partner Daniel Martinez went to police in hopes of getting their property back.
At first, the two men told Skokie detectives they were robbed of $7,000 by three black individuals in an attempt to purchase a vehicle in Skokie. After some questioning, the duo soon admitted to police that it wasn't cash that was stolen--but four pounds of pot.
