Jason Wu Dishes Out Advice For Kate Middleton's Wedding Dressmaker

No one knows for sure who will be responsible for Catherine Middleton's wedding dress, but one man has some wise words for whomever the designer shall be.

Jason Wu -- he of Michelle Obama frock fame -- told Women's Wear Daily that Kate's Chosen One should, "Embrace the moment of attention, but be prepared to make your next step. Your career is not just about one experience, one hit show. You have to figure out what your next acts are going to be." He added that thanks to his first lady fashions, "I could have been a reality star, a TV personality, a spokesperson for this or that. There were book and movie proposals. They wanted to make me into a 'personality.'"

Can you imagine "Jason Wu: The Movie"? We would have loved to see the cast list.

Incidentally, Wu also talked to WWD earlier in the week after raking in more than $200,000 at a fall collection preview in D.C. He remarked to the fashion newspaper, "I feel like I'm an almost honorary Washingtonian." We feel like that, too, Mr. Wu.
