Season 3 of the "Jersey Shore"concluded on Thursday night to much fan-fare. Next up? The GTL crew brings their overly-tanned, overly-coiffed selves to Italy for "Jersey Shore" season 4.

It may seem that the debauchery and shamelessness of Seaside Heights is an American original, but it's not. Beach towns around the world boast similar needs for tanned debauchery. Here are seven beaches around the world to get your "Jersey Shore" on.

Rimini, Mykonos, Ibiza etc.etc. are about the worst destinations in Europe ( unless you are 18-22).

Mykonos is a fun time. Paradise Beach is great. Super Paradise Beach is the gay beach.

How could they neglect Sitges, Spain (a short distance from Barcelona)? The beaches are filled with heavenly bodies and anything is an excuse for an all-night street party so loud that the only real choice is to join. When the official gay beach (marked by a pink triangle on the jetty) is immediately across from a public childrens' playground you have a pretty good idea that the place is about as wild as it can get. Gay and straight are so intermingled that there's almost no difference...

Mallorca is much more sedate and upscale than Ibiza. Rimini is a family resort. The beaches themselves at Taormina are not beautiful but the town & area is. Cannes does not have a tacky crowd but is relatively sedate. Really, Ibiza and Mykonos are in a class by themselves.

Thanks, a nice list of places to avoid, which is better than listing the perfect, out of the way paradises, which only sends everyone there, ruining everything.
