Britney Spears Wows In Vegas (PHOTOS)

Britney Spears took the stage Friday night for a secret show at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas - her first public performance since her 2009 tour. Tuesday she performs on 'Good Morning America.'

"OMFG it feels good to be on stage again!!" Britney tweeted Saturday morning.

Dances like Lurch. Poured into outfit so tight, that her big thighs and bum stuck out, like pop-n-fresh dough bursting out of the cardboard tube. Completely uninvolved in what she was doing. She needs a new job, because she certainly hates this one.

Isn't it clear everyone? Isn't it clear that at this point, Lady Gaga has set the BAR so high (in the pop world only), that even old veterans like Spears look like poor ol' wannabes?

Spears needs to stop. She is a 30 year old women with children dancing in leotards and singing about picking up men in clubs. What a poor life trajectory.

And AT LEAST, if she were going to blatantly copy off of Gaga (dance music wise and clothing wise) she could at least put some energy into her performances. This is so ewww.

She needs to bow down gracefully. She'll always be the one and only Britney, but this is like watching a ship sink

LOL copy Gaga. What a joke. Britney has been doing dance music forever and dressing like that way before Gaga, who actually wears nothing on stage. And Britney's album which I just got is nothing like Gaga's music or anybody else's. No one would accuse that album is ripping off Gaga. I belong to a huge pop site and not one Gaga fan has even said that. They're both so different.

Now, regarding her dancing, you're right. She used to be fantastic. She was a dancer. But after knee surgeries and probably because she is on mood stabilizing drugs for her mental illness, she is sluggish. But her last tour, which was just about like she is now, was one of the biggest tours of the year. She has a massive fanbase. I love the album but would never pay money to see her. But more power to her fans who can't wait.

And nothing wrong with a 29 year old mother dancing in a leotard on stage singing about dancing in clubs. Jennifer Lopez just put out a great new single about the same thing and dancing in the video all skimpy. Good for her.

I turned on the TV this AM and there was Brit and at first glance, thought it was a film from the her early career! But it was Britany live from San Francisco. Looking closer her dancing was ho-hum and she is on stage with much younger, more flexible and talented dancers so, the comparison to them makes her look stiff and aged. She does a lot of hair tossing though to compensate. Are there fans of pop hair tossing out there.. hum?

The lip-synching is still her trademark but I can't believe she gets away with it. Why would anyone buy a ticket to see a singer lip-sync? Could it be that she really cannot sing live? All the sexy costumes and young dancers in the world cannot replace real live singing but I'm sure she'll go on to sell millions of tickets. Go figure.

Exactly. I watched it, too. She simply doesn't dance, as if the lip-syncing wasn't enough. I wonder if something happened to her medically (like a stroke or something) which is why she seems to lack energy and doesn't dance anymore. Odd. It doesn't help that the music isn't nearly as good as past songs.

She just isn't fit or flexible to dance like that anymore and she looked so stiff. It would take many hours of hard training for her to do moves like her dancers are doing. So she is faking it by posing, moving her arms around and hair tossing instead. The music was the same as it always was no surprises there. lol

Madonna for being 50 can still dance because she works at it all the time.

Um... you guys REALLY fail with this.

That clip is being circulated just about everywhere as "Britney gives half-arsed performance while vaguely sober" and held up as proof that she's just another Whitney... will never come back.

She just walks around the stage... barely... lip syncing to another one of her one-note songs... poorly... I've seen drag queens at Amateur Night do a more convincing set.

Different clips watched. Lip sync (can't sing live) No dancing (can't bust the moves anymore)
Dull music (cookie-cutter dance tunes) Pretty sad. Trying to get by on celebrity..not talent.

Brit can't save live anymore. Brit's dancing is lackluster. I blame it on her mood drugs she has to take for bipolar partly. I would never pay to see her live.

But you're wrong on one thing. The album is fantastic club music and it sounds different than what's out there. Love it.

It's a good thing for her her fans are not that bright. She's made millions off of people's low standards and willingness to be blinded by sex appeal devoid of any musical substance.
