Actress Keira Knightley and model Lily Cole both stepped out to the Jameson Empire Awards 2011 in London on Sunday night. Keira opted for a sparkly, layered and collared Rodarte frock with shoulder cutouts, while Lily went for a metallic marigold sheath with an embellished headband and strappy sandals.

P.S. -- Lily Cole is trying to get attention (bright sexy dress, hair pointedly over breasts, public event) -- yet she looks contemptuous of anyone who would look at her. Am I missing something to make sense of this?

I just don't "get" Lily Cole's expression in any of the pics -- is she adopting the persona of a dead model? Why would anyone ever have any of those expressions? They all reflect a most peculiar attitude . . . I thought this was supposed to be a pleasant night upon the town. What's up with that?

I think they both look like a disaster. I like both dresses, but those flats and heels are abominable, and Lily's dye job is horrendous.

I think both are gorgeous for all the alien-resemblance of Ms. Cole, but both outfits are a miss, big-time.

The yellow dress is okay (at best). It's fairly appropriate for the young lady's age, but that's one pukey yellow. Ms. Knightly's dress is a loser.
