First Round Of Lollapalooza Tickets Sell Out In Minutes

Though the full lineup has not been announced yet, Lollapalooza fans have learned to trust the Chicago festival-- and rapidly purchased three-day passes at a discounted rate Tuesday.

A limited amount of $60 passes went on sale Tuesday morning, and sold out in just minutes, according to NBC Chicago. The next round of discounted tickets will go on sale April 5 at 10 a.m.

Some rumored headliners include Eminem, the Foo Fighters and Best Coast. Festival founder Perry Farrell told Relix magazine last week that he wants to feature more electronic acts for Lolla's 20th anniversary, and the magazine predicted that Daft Punk or The Prodigy might take the main stage.

The festival will be in Grant Park August 5 through 7.
