For this year's college applicants, it was that much harder to get into the nation's No. 1 dream school, Stanford.
The Stanford Daily reports that the acceptance rate for the class of 2015 dropped to 7.1 percent from 7.2 percent last year.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Stanford's acceptance rate in 2009 was 7.6 percent.
More than 34,000 students applied to the school this year, and 2,427 of them were accepted.
