CIUDAD JUAREZ, Mexico -- Police say gunmen burst into a bar in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez and opened fire, killing eight people.
Chihuahua state prosecutors' spokesman Arturo Sandoval says assailants traveling in three cars arrived at the bar called El Castillo late Thursday and opened fire.
Sandoval said Friday that police found more than 130 bullet casings at the scene.
Ciudad Juarez is across from El Paso, Texas. It has been wracked by a turf war between the Sinaloa and Juarez drug cartels.
More than 3,000 people were killed in the city of 1.3 million in 2010.
