This week's "SNL" presented the newest chapter in the "Laser Cats" saga: "Laser Cats: The Musical." Where 3D, politics and James Cameron failed, an Elton John score was sure to triumph. And to seal the deal, Bill and Andy had America's most trustworthy actor and producer, Tom Hanks, pitch the idea to Lorne Michaels (of course, they had to threaten Wilson to get Hanks on board).
Our favorite part of this are the shots of some poor actor/stuntman in a Spider-Man costume repeatedly flying into walls in the background. Fortunately, without Julie Taymor at the helm, no actors or cats were harmed in the making of "Laser Cats: The Musical."
