'The Governator' Trailer: Arnold Schwarzenegger's Cartoon Preview

First Posted: 04/04/11 02:18 PM ET Updated: 06/04/11 06:12 AM ET

And you thought battling the California budget was a tough task.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, who last week announced that he'd be returning to his entertainment roots with a cartoon and comic book titled "The Governator," lies to Larry King and battles bank-robbing robots in his show's first trailer.

Assisted by a team of eager, nameless kids, the former governor sees that Transformers-style attacks are going down in San Fran and then heads into his secret super cave, outfitting himself in armor and intense sunglasses.

It's an interesting start for the project, which is being co-produced with Marvel legend Stan Lee.

30 years younger and 30 pounds lighter. Arnold definitely was exercising creative control.

Cartoon land is a much more appropriate place for The Governator than the actual government.

LOL, the California has been a cartoon land for years, at least this will not be sinking the state into bankruptcy....

Okay- you got me. I'm proud to be a Californian (NOT because of the government or Hollywood- it's because of the PRETTY weather, variety of nature & kicka$$ health food stores & restaurants), but I definitely see how we might come off as a "Cartoon Land".

The man's almost eligible for senior citizen discounts.  He'd need a powered exoframe just to jog these days.

He also made up Stripperella for Pamela Anderson.  I think it lasted a season.
