Bristol Palin's Nonprofit Paid Her Seven Times What It Spent On Actual Teen Pregnancy Prevention

In 2009, Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol joined a teen pregnancy prevention nonprofit called the Candie's Foundation. Today, the Associated Press reported that the Candie's Foundation released its 2009 tax information, revealing that Bristol was paid a salary of $262,500.

you can google their tax filings.

In 2009 they paid out 25K, so 60K over the last 2 years while they brought in around 2.3 million dollars. They funneled a quarter mil to the Palins... I wonder who else they funnel money to. Sure seems like a laundering scheme.

Paid for what -- to be the poster child for unwed pregnancies? I am sure glad that if Title X goes down the tubes, all pro-life federal funding will disappear too. Right? I mean, isn't that right, GOP? You *ARE* planning on cutting ALL 'family planning' funding, aren't you?

Oh, hmm... The candies website says "GOOD NEWS: Congress is thinking of shifting money from abstinence-until-marriage education to comprehensive sex education."

I don't know if this is mentioned in the Think Progress article, but it was brought up in a reader's letter to The Dish blog at the Daily Beast (emphasis mine):

"Her spokesperson's defense for her $262,500 compensation is, “If you do your research you’ll find that most nonprofits compensate their celebrity spokespeople and Bristol’s no different.”  Not exactly. 

The important thing to note is that it only takes a little research (by reading the Candie's Foundation Form 990 tax filing) that among all the many celebrity spokespersons for Candie's Foundation, Bristol is the only one that received compensation. The filing lists payments to non-employee contractors that relate to programs as being $262,500 total, which is precisely equal to the amount given to Bristol Palin. 
That means two things: (i) Bristol is the only "celebrity" who insisted on compensation (and a huge amount at that); and (ii) The Situation, who did that god-awful PSA with her, did not seek compensation.  I'm not sure which of these facts is more surprising, but taken together, they represent a major indictment of Palin."

Candies was paying her to talk about abstinence and all the time she was living with her boy friends. Levi and later Gino. She was not practicing what she preached.

I would not be surprised if there were not some abortions in that family. Too many Rumors about Sarah,Bristol and Willow. Willow certainly got quite after her and Bristol attacked that boy on face book and she was caught on camera slipping her boy friend into her bedroom after being told by her mother. Wonder who runs them out when mommy not around.
