Mobile Medical Marijuana Farm Missing

The owners of stolen mobile medical marijuana grow unit are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to its recovery.

Someone stole the The 28-foot, $50,000 cargo trailer, known as a "GrowBot" from the annual High Times Medical Cannabis Cup at the EXDO Event Center in Denver on Sunday night. Reuters reports that trailer was simply driven off of the EXDO facility in full view of security guards.

The reward is being offered by Wright Group Entertainment Services and GrowBot. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 303-598-2929.

The theft has captured the attention of Colorado's medical marijuana community. On Wednesday, the Medical Marijuana Assistance Program of America (MMAPA) sent out a release publicizing the incident and the reward.

"A terrible event occurred and we're doing what we can to help by publicizing this sad and unfortunate incident in the hopes of garnering some public attention for locating the stolen trailer," said Vincent Palazzotto, founder of the medical marijuana advocacy group MMAPA
