Some sartorial highlights: Jennifer Garner -- who we feel like we haven't seen in forever -- in gray Oscar de la Renta, Uma Thurman's take on the same color palette, Karolina Kurkova's metallic skirt and Naomi Campbell, fully dressed with a smile.

Mirren, Uma and Araujo perfected chic. I usually love Naomi Campbell but the black tights coupled with the black platforms seemed too much but who is looking at her shoes and tights right? Naomi is still gorgeous. Garner's outfit was off a bit but she still has the best accessory a person can have a great smile.

Interesting mix of styles at the Arthur opening. Helen Mirren - lovely as ever, but looking a bit like she's playing Anna in the King and I then a couple of others looking very chic in short(ish) skirts and tops.

oh, the clothes are all nice, and Russell is adorable whatever he wears, but I'm just not a fan of "3" below the knee" skirts - I think that's one of the least attractive looks a woman can wear. it just chops off her silhouette.
