Obama Birth Certificate Request Rejected By Hawaii Appeals Court

HONOLULU -- A Hawaii appeals court has rejected a man's request to "inspect and copy" President Barack Obama's birth certificate, saying the plaintiff failed to state a valid claim to having access to the document.

Chief Judge Craig Nakamura wrote in an opinion issued Thursday that Robert V. Justice didn't show there were "compelling circumstances" requiring the state Department of Health to show him the birth certificate. Two associate justices of the Hawaii Intermediate Court of Appeals concurred, one in a separate opinion.

The Honolulu Star Advertiser reported on the so-called "birther" issue last year:

Since 2008, "birthers," who believe Obama was born in Kenya and thus ineligible to be president, have been requesting information from the state about his birth. The requests continued despite Obama's camp releasing a copy of his certificate of live birth and reports of Obama's birth announcements published in 1961 in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and The Honolulu Advertiser.

Hawaii's privacy laws bar the release of birth records unless the requester is someone with a tangible interest, such as a close family member.

Hawaii's former health director has repeatedly said he's verified Obama's original records. Also, two local newspapers published notices of Obama's birth in 1961.

President Obama ought to be the poster boy for "Pro-Life" activists. After all, his teenage mother conceived a child from an interracial liaison, when such a relationship was still illegal in many states (and profoundly scandalous in all the others), causing her to interrupt her college career. The baby's father was already married to another woman, whom he had abandoned along with two existing children, but Ms. Dunham bore her child, while continuing with her ambitious educational and professional plans as a single mother. A single mother's life is never easy, and the single, teenage mother of a bi-racial child must have struggled terribly, but that child grew up to be the most powerful man in the world. Barack H. Obama has proven that any child truly can grow up to be president. Why can't regressives at least celebrate that aspect of his election, regardless of their ideological differences?

The birth certification of Obama cannot be investigated as it is protected by the most powerful elite in the United States.

However, all I want to know is how Obama went from Harvard University graduation to a indoctrination course at KISSINGER ASSOCIATES. I also want to know of Obama's connection to Brzezinski who recently made a statement at The Chatham House in London England that "it is easier to k*ll a million people than it is to CONTROL them".

It is Obama's connection to the Rockefeller Syndicate that is far more dire than where or when he was registered at birth.

Obama has appointed over 350 names off of that ELITE 4000 membership base assembled at The Pratt House which is funded, organized and controlled by the Rockefeller Syndicate.

This is a far more important issue than his easily disguised birth date or place.

I do wish psychiatrists would come up with a name for this silly birther condition besides the compulsive belief some odious people believe they have the right to know. I live in a rural backwoods (and backwards) county in PA that almost always goes Democrat. But they went McCain in '08, saying they wanted Hillary, that's why they voted against Obama. Yeah, right. i think some of them don't know hawai'i is a state, or was already a state in '61, or since it isn't in the contiguous 48, it doesn't count (which would be a good argument against Palin). i live in PA, on the western edge of the mason-dixon line, and my mom honestly overheard someone in a store say that there was no such thing as a "west virginia." we live less than 30 minutes from it. unless that was said before 1863, it is stupid. and it was said in the 1990s. some people didn't quite make it through high school geography.

One can repeat this until the end of time and some still won't listen...different states and in some cases counties within states issue a variety of legal birth certificates...for example, I was born in IL, my legal birth certificate is a certified "abstract" of the records on file with that state's Dept. of Public Health and is so certified by the clerk of the county I was born in...my brother was born in MN, his legal birth certificate is a photostat of the records on file there and also is so certified by the clerk of the county he was born in...

Meantime, many think that the "certificate" that many hospitals present to the new parents with a signature by the Doctor and a nice picture of the hospital is a legal birth certificate...it's NOT, it's merely a keepsake., legal birth certificates are issued by the county one was born in.

That is not how is works. To be president, you must be natural born meaning born in the US. It has nothing to do with the citizenship of your parents. It is odd however, that birthers didn't have a run on the embassy in Panama for McCain since he was NOT born in the US.

It has everything to do with a Democrat in the White House and he's only half white!

and the sticking point is she did not meet the ability of transferring citizenship as she was 18 at the time(thus not meeting the living 5yrs after 14 yrs old in the US) and thus if he was born outside the US he would not get citizenship. that is the sticking point for the folks who believe he wasn't born in Hawaii.

Don't mix up "natural born" with "Naturalized"...which means born in a foreign country or born to parents of a foreign country...then immigrating to the US and applying to become a citizen.

That's the whole idea behind the de-funding of the American educational system that the federal government and most state governments are proposing now. An INTELLIGENT electorate can discern for itself what the candidates will do for and against them, cutting through all the b.s. But, a dumbed-down electorate, raised on "Wipe-Out," "The Apprentice," "American Idol," "Big Brother," etc., with no American history knowledge, no world history knowledge, no geographical knowledge, pushed into science and math with no analytical and higher reasoning skills -- now THAT is an easily manipulated electorate! Only the wealthy can get proper educations, so they can continue their reign of terror. This has been in the works for a while now, at least since Reagan. I did my undergrad under Reagan, he cut aid to universities and colleges, I did my MA under Clinton, had no problems with my financial aid, and did my Ph.D. (didn't finish it) under W, who again made it hard to get financial aid. This is an old story, Republicans WANT the general public dumb as doornails, and they use the only thing these people pretend to "know" - the Bible - as a means to keep them enthralled and dutiful to the GOP. I wish these people would wake up and realize that they are being manipulated, but apparently, it is a form of mental retardation (I know that is not the p.c. term, but mentally challenged is too light a term for these people).
