Jessica Alba Unbuttons For Vogue Italia, Says 'I Like Mystery So I Don't Put It All Out There' (PHOTOS)

Jessica Alba struck a pose for Vogue Italia's April issue -- and we would have never recognized the actress, what with the super blunt haircut we thought we could put off circa 1993 and all. But the new 'do goes swimmingly with the labels she's shilling and the cleavage she's showing.

In a behind-the-scenes interview that you can watch here, Alba told the glossy, "My own style is probably a mixture of high and low. I'm definitely into sort of layering and I like mystery so I don't put it all out there. I play dress up for a living -- for photo shoots and for working and movies or whatnot -- I sort of wear more revealing things that show my body. But in life I like things that have a little bit more mystery. I like things that are elegant and chic, but then a little rock-and-roll."

I've always been a fan of Jessica..but I am not a fan of these photos...Jessica is usually HAPPY, GLOWY, in her photos...These are just way to Dark...NOT HER.....

Unless I misread the article, the point was that these photos represent a specific look that the magazine was trying to show. While the look is different, it is far from ugly. Jessica adopted that look for the photo shoot, just as she does with the character of the different roles she undertakes on the screen.

For the two "barkers," who also commented above. You guys sound like a couple of gay blades or something. Could there be a little envy there that neither of you will ever be the woman Jessica is? Eat your heart out guys.

I completely agree - Jessica Alba is one of the most lovely creatures on the planet - but she looks hideous and dark and unappealing in these photos - UGH! terrible photography/layout choices!
