St. Bessarion Shows Orthodox Jew-Inspired Collection At Moscow Fashion Week (PHOTOS, POLL)

PHOTOS: Orthodox Jew-Inspired Runway Show

Racked points out one of the more interesting runway shows from the recent Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia in Moscow: designer St. Bessarion's Orthodox Jew-inspired collection.

The models stomped down the catwalk in synagogue-worthy hats with payos attached. As for the garb, some of the ladies wore maxi skirts and suit coats, but there was nary a talis-like shawl in sight -- they're selling those at H&M now, Jezebel writes, BTW.

Take a look and tell us what you think of St. Bessarion's holy theme. And scroll down to watch a total fashion flashback -- Jean Paul Gaultier's 1993 Chosen People spectacular. Wildly controversial at the time.
