Donald Trump

Vanity Fair:

We, too, are recent beneficiaries of Trump's editorial suggestions. On March 24, Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter received a packet of documents from Trump containing a print-out of a VF Daily blog post from the week prior (shown below), several articles from blogs and newspapers concerning the ratings of Celebrity Apprentice and Trump's presidential aspirations, and a debossed "DONALD J. TRUMP" note card of surprisingly thin paper stock.

Maybe he should pick Rand Paul as his running mate and it could be the dead raccoon/dead squirrel on the top of the head ticket.

Trump has too much free time. Maybe he should spend some of it learning about issues.

Trump has completed his metamorphosis into Grampa Simpson.

"Dear Mr. President, there are too many states these days. Please eliminate three. I am NOT a crackpot. "

The change was inevitable.

On the upside, with his skin getting thinner and thinner they will soon be able to do an internal organs check on Mr. Trump without all the cost and inconvenience of an MRI.

There is a nameless malady that affects many people who are successful in a given realm. They begin to think they are equally talented in other areas. This seldom proves out (Leonardo, you are the exception). Thus, Donald has dabbled in book writing, and convinces himself that he has "written many bestsellers". He is featured in a mediocre TV show, and convinces himself that he is a talented producer/personality. He has a driver's license, and fancies himself Mario Andretti. You get the idea.

Can you imagine having a President who would send out daily sharpie written hate notes to all of his critics?

I still don't think Mr. Trump intends to run but, if he does, this is why his campaign will implode within two months of his announcement. He's a narcissist and narcissists always attack their critics, no matter how innocuous the criticism. Look how he reacted to O'Donnell, Collins, Cosby and now Vanity Fair. His potential opponents know this and they will needle him. Trump will respond and the American public will have their fill of him in short order. He'll drop in the polls and Trump will invent a supposedly compelling reason to drop out. I wouldn't put it past him to allude to Calvin Coolidge: "If nominated, I will not run. If elected, I will not serve because America does not deserve me." Which would be true, just not for the reasons The Donald thinks.

This guy is having a giant mid-life crisis. He needs to take up crossword puzzles or knitting or something. He is embarrassing his family.
