'Caper Break Up': Two Robbers & A Lot Of Baggage (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bank Robber Has A Hard Time Letting Go

Break ups can be traumatic, especially if you've just gone through a particularly intense event together. Such is the case in this short created by a hodgepodge of NYC sketch artists.

The setup is simple: two guys have just robbed a bank and now they're ready to part ways to avoid the cops. Only one of them is having a really hard time letting go.

Originally performed at the live sketch comedy lab that is UCB New York's Maude Night, the video features John Milhiser (Serious Lunch) and Corey Johnson (Onassis) as the robbers, and was written by Stephanie Bencin (Arbuckle), and directed by Edmond Hawkins, an artist and animator for "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" and "Wonder Showzen," among other things. And continuing the "Late Night" trend, Owen Biddle of The Roots (recently seen in The Real Housewives Of Late Night) created the music.

It also opens with one of the best action sequences we've seen in a comedy short. Nice work, Mr. Hawkins.
