I love watching a happy crowd of people, not beating each other up, not rioting or name calling. I got up at 2 am to watch the wedding, glad I did. We need something to help make us smile in the wake of all the tornados and tsunami's and quakes....Yes I do have family and friends in Japan, Tennessee, South Carolina, Arkansas & Kansas. I pray for these people.

Kate was a stunning classic bride and her sister Pippa's dress was sleek and beautiful....I have a good feeling about this couple, they seem truly in love :)

I am thrilled for Prince William and his lovely bride to be. I wish them every happiness in the world. Reading some of the comments confirms for me the fact that some people will find fault with absolutely everything. It must be unpleasant to be the kind of person that cannot even find it in their hearts to be happy for these two people.

My royal wedding suggestions? Look outside window and if it's raining, take an umbrella. If it;s shiny put on sunblock. Go outside and walk. Watching a woman walk down the aisle a million miles away = tedious........ and by the way I'm from London.

I heard a British reporter say America was lapping up this wedding and couldn't get enough of it, clearly, they haven't read these threads. I also think they are confusing American media and American people. Btw, I thought I was the only who felt that way about this wedding.

Never fear, my friends, network news is hurting...and bad. They need this event -- whether it's newsworthy or not -- to shore up their balance sheets with barely break-even revenue flow(s). This is where America's "once great" journalistic organizations have gone: polishing the shoes of British royalty and carrying maximum-strength Chap-Stick simply for a minor up-tick in ratings.

Nevertheless, I'll pass on this one.

The English people are spending a money mountain to promote this wedding. How rediculous. These so called Royals should get educations which allow them to be real people. Fox hunting, white gloves and hats do not set well with the English people.
