Mark Zuckerberg Wears Tie, Jeans For Obama Interview (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 04/20/11 07:06 PM ET   Updated: 06/20/11 06:12 AM ET

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg traded his signature hoodie and t-shirt for a collared shirt and necktie for an interview with Barack Obama at the Facebook headquarters Wednesday.

Obama teased Zuckerberg about his dressier-than-usual wardrobe, commenting, "My name is Barack Obama, and I'm the guy that got Mark to wear a jacket and tie."

As the two sat down for the interview, Obama cracked a joke about Mark's blazer.

"He's uncomfortable, so how about we take off the jackets?" Obama said. Zuckerberg obliged.

See pictures of Zuckerberg's new look below. Note he's kept the jeans and sneakers. Zuckerberg also dressed up for a dinner with Obama earlier this year.

Zuckerberg's stock went up in my opinion (not that it counts; MidClass old white chick). Wearing a tie exhibited respect for President Obama/office of the President of the USA. I've had a big problem for a long time with the media who called Bush and previous presidents "President" but, most of the time, refer to President Obama as "Mr". The lack of respect is designed to be subtle and now it is pervasive. The media should just go ahead and pronounce it "Missah" and show their true colors/prejudice.

Obama states that he and Zuckerberg should pay more taxes. Yes, but they would still both be very wealthy. He thinks that $250,000 a year is being rich, but that is a far cry from what they both make and definitely is not being rich. Obama is out of touch with reality, has been and always will be - He is the epitome of a "Smooth talker"

"Smooth talker"? lol It is so funny that opponents of Obama deem the fluency in English as a negative trait.

Facebook is the reason people all over the world, a la Egypt are taking their destinies into their own hands and overthrowing their cruel, backwards dictators. Facebook is an unbelievably powerful tool for communication and influence...to people of ALL schools of thought, Republicans, Democrats, Independents, etc.

He would be insane not to have Mark Zuckerberg on his side.

just like the Libyan rebels need John McCain on their side

That is not what I mean. I use Facebook too. He just acts like a celebrity trying to stay cool in my opinion, like he thinks being hip on Facebook is going to win him back the progressives he threw under the bus.
