'Nobody Walks': John Krasinski, Olivia Thirlby In Talks To Join Cast

Jim Halpert may not be the new boss at Dunder Mifflin, but his off-screen alter ego looks to be grabbing a different headline role.

John Krasinski is in talks to star in the indie comedy "Nobody Walks," The Wrap reports; the film is co-written by Lena Dunham, who made waves with her independent hit, "Tiny Furniture." "Nobody Walks," is about "a young artist who is invited into a Los Angeles family's home -- and disrupts the family's life," The Wrap says.

Olivia Thirlby is also in talks to co-star.

Krasinski had his biggest film success as the co-headliner of the indie film, "Away We Go," playing the slightly eccentric yet charming husband of Maya Rudolph. He's also appeared in the romantic comedies, "It's Complicated," and "License to Wed," the latter of which he starred in with Mandy Moore and Robin Williams. Krasinski played an early 20th century football player in George Clooney's comedy "Leatherheads." He'll next be seen in yet another rom-com, "Something Borrowed."
