Piers Morgan Ratings Hit All-Time Low

Piers Morgan's Very Bad Day

Piers Morgan had a not-so-good night on Tuesday. The CNN host drew his lowest-ever ratings in the all-important A25-54 demo. Just 77,000 people in the category tuned into his show, which was a pre-taped program focusing on the first anniversary of the B.P. oil spill, leaving Morgan fourth in his time slot, behind "Dr. Drew" on HLN, Rachel Maddow and Sean Hannity. The demo ratings were a steep drop from Morgan's previous low of 108,000. The total viewers for the show were also at a record low: 354,000.

Luckily for Morgan, he bounced back the next day, as 147,000 viewers from the demo tuned into his Wednesday show. He is also doing about 60% better in those ratings than his predecessor, Larry King, was at this time last year.
