HBO's 'Talking Funny' Roundtable Of Gervais, Rock, Seinfeld & CK Discuss Draining Jokes (VIDEO)

HBO's "Talking Funny" featuring Ricky Gervais, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld and Louis CK aired for the first time on Friday night, and with any luck, this won't be a one-off special. Listening to comedians who have lived and breathed comedy for their entire adult lives discuss the craft is a pleasure that reaches beyond die-hard comedy fans, and the amount of topics and roundtable guests a "Talking Funny" series could incorporate is endless. Of course, for the ravenous comedy faithful, Paul Provenza's "The Green Room" already existed, as do more than a few podcasts as "Punchline Magazine" outlines here.

But in terms of bringing the subject of comedy as an art form to a wide audience, "Talking Funny" offers both the star power and some shock value (see the back and forth between Chris Rock and Louis CK at the end of this clip).
